Responsibilities
Peraton requires Network Architects to support the Special
Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract
(SITEC) - 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at
MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the
United States and abroad.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology
Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance
(EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component
Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its
deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services
to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and
network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support;
provide configuration, change, license, and asset management;
conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs)
services.
The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement
play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and
ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The Network Architect performs Tier four network support in
accordance with the SIE OPORD and requires an extensive background
in networking technology.
The Network Architect must possess excellent written and oral
communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and
leadership abilities.
This position requires a strong background in the design and
maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks
(WANs), as well as an excellent working knowledge of LAN/WAN
protocols (e.g., Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway
Protocol (BGP), and Multiprotocol Labeling Switching (MPLS).
The Network Architect shall comprehensively review existing
architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with
the design and implementation of systems and network improvements
as required.
This position shall troubleshoot the enterprise voice, video,
cloud, and data networks and evaluate the impact of architectural
changes on the network.
The Network Architect shall follow designated network standards for
the design, installation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN
infrastructures, voice and data network systems, and advanced
engineering.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for
this position based on experience and other factors.
